Biography

A researcher with more than 7 years experience in Plant molecular biology at the Tobacco Research Board, Zimbabwe. A holder of a Ph.D. in crop genetics specializing in plant molecular biology from Zhejiang University, China. Current responsibilities include GMO screening, marker development, research in tobacco improvement via CRISPR technique and Biopharming of pharmaceuticals in tobacco. Research interest revolve on Crop gene editing for the production of varieties better suited for the environment.

Research interests: Gene editing, Molecular Crop Breeding, Biopharming
